Policies and Guidelines

Welcome to The Estate at Eagle Lake! Our policies, refined over years of experience, ensure your event is safe, seamless, and unforgettable. Please review the guidelines below.

Venue Capacity and Amenities

• Guest Capacity: Our venue comfortably accommodates up to 180 guests, with a maximum capacity of 200.

• Parking: Designated parking areas are available for guests. A 15-minute drop-off zone near the reception tent is provided for unloading goods or passengers. Overflow parking is guided by staff, with shuttle service available via golf carts.

Music and Entertainment

• Bands:

  • Allowed indoors only, specifically in the chapel/bunker area.

  • Outdoor amplified instruments (e.g., drums, horns) are not permitted due to sound regulations.

  • Live acoustic music is encouraged for ceremonies and cocktail hours.

• Guest DJs:

  • Outside DJs must visit Eagle Lake beforehand and provide insurance documentation.

  • DJs are required to use our sound system and connect via provided XLR cables.

  • Our in-house DJ ensures seamless sound transitions during your event.

Catering and Bar Policies

• Approved Caterers: Use of non-approved caterers requires prior discussion and permission.

• Outdoor Setups: Catering and bar stations must be placed on solid surfaces to protect lawns and landscaping.

Event Enhancements

• Sparklers: Limited to 10 individuals for safety. Must be held aloft and away from faces.

• Real Flower Petals: Allowed outdoors; artificial petals are prohibited due to cleanup difficulties.

• Confetti, Glitter, and Open Candles: Not allowed to ensure cleanliness and safety.

Property Use Guidelines

• Boating: Permission is required for any boating activities. Boats must not be used once the wedding begins, except for bridal photography.

• Golf Carts: Reserved for staff use; guests will be transported as needed.

• Decorating in Advance: Allowed the evening before if the venue is available. The Estate at Eagle Lake in New Jersey is not responsible for any damage or loss of items left overnight.

Safety and Supervision

• Minors: Children under 12 must be supervised at all times.

• Shot Policy: Shots or neat drinks are prohibited by bartenders to maintain guest safety.

• Pets: Dogs are welcome but must be supervised and kept off the lawn. Other pets require prior approval.

Additional Policies

• Trash and Recycling: Guests must adhere to recycling rules. Improper disposal may result in fines.

• Valuables: Items left overnight must be retrieved by 10:00 AM the next day. The Estate at Eagle Lake is not liable for lost or stolen items.
