- Step 4: Take a Sneak Peek at Your Day -

From the first light of day to your final dance of the night, envision your special day at Eagle Lake.

It begins in your Private Suites

A favorite place of all our wedding parties are the suites. Large enough to spread out and completely private. The bridal salon boasts 3 hair-and-makeup stations, a large changing room, wet bar, TV, comfortable lounge and private bathroom. The opposing suite has everything the gals have less the salon stations, including a full bathroom with shower, Wii Sports-Pac gaming, pool table and darts lounge. Opens at 7 am.

Daytime Entertainment

Eagle Lake is more than just a name; it's a vibrant, living habitat. For the avid sportsman, it boasts the finest fishing spot in the New Jersey. You can bring your own gear or simply relax in one of our boats. Sunbathe on the beach, take a nap in the Tiki hut, or have a barrel of laughs on the love swing. There are indoor and outdoor games, and a movie theater for those rainy days. Mornings are the best at Eagle Lake

Picture This!

Now is the perfect time to capture these precious moments; you've never appeared more radiant. Photo sessions usually start a few hours before the ceremony and take you throughout the property. A staff member will be right there with you and escort you in a golf cart where necessary or upon request. The property offers ample shade to keep you cool on those warm summer days. Click the photo to animate this beautiful summer bride.

Guest Arrival

Guests typically arrive between 4 and 4:30 and pull in past the amphitheater where drivers can unload passengers. Shuttle buses and ride-shares will unload at the amphitheater as well. Lake staff will direct drivers to a parking space below, and freely shuttle them back to the amphitheater on one of our many golf carts. The upper driveway is blocked off at 4:30 sharp to make way for the ceremony to begin. Late arrivals will temporarily park in the driveway and walk over to the ceremony and watch, then park their cars when the vows are completed.

Outdoor Ceremony Options

Choose From 3 Outdoor Locations

Eagle Lake is known for its picturesque lakeside amphitheater. With terraced seating beneath shade trees, a surround sound PA system, and oscillating fans, it ensures a comfortable experience for all attendees. A distinctive feature is the fountain that activates when the couple is pronounced husband and wife. The ceremonies are further enhanced by a live feed camera that broadcasts to a 180-inch screen in the chapel, allowing for indoor viewing if it’s too windy or cold for elderly guests. Other options include a lawn ceremony in the garden or for you beach enthusiasts, a ceremony on the white sand Eagle Lake beach.

Indoor Ceremony Options

Choose from 2 cozy indoor locations

Incorporating a solid backup plan is crucial to your wedding preparations. For many, what serves as our backup plan becomes their primary choice, given the distinct charm of our indoor ceremony space. We will delve into the specifics of crafting an excellent backup plan in step five.

The Eagle Lake Chapel: holds 135, is the preferred ceremony location when weather dictates. It’s not religious, but the vibe is mini-French cathedral. Guests can seat in one of our “pews” or view from the balcony above. A 30-minute decision time is all we require.

The Reception Tent: For parties over 135, your ceremony will be inside the reception tent. We direct guests to take their seats at their tables and create an isle effect up the dance floor. A 60-minute decision time is required for this setup.

Both options are lovely. Sometimes we prepare for an indoor ceremony and the weather clears so you can move outside. That may not give us enough time to set all the chairs up outside but you’re free to have guests stand for the duration, most people don’t mind. We know outside is where you want to be, so we do everything in our power to make that happen…

An Intimate Entrance

A delightful indoor ceremony as rain nurtures the gardens outside. Captured from the balcony perspective, featuring a live feed screen of Eagle Lake, the fountain comes to life at just the right moment. Click the picture to see the video

Cocktail Hour

We offer two options for cocktail hour! The Koi Garden/Rooftop is everyone’s choice when the weather is right, as it provides a magnificent view of the lake. We set your food and bar service inside the reception tent when rain is predicted. The lawn in front of the tent down to the beach become part of your indoor cocktail hour when weather is a concern. Wherever you end up, your party will begin on an enjoyable note.

Your Wedding Reception Awaits

As guests transition from their cocktail hour, your reception beckons. The elegantly adorned tent connects seamlessly to the main house, ensuring that all your culinary, bar, and restroom facilities are conveniently located indoors. The climate-controlled tent feels spacious and provides a sweeping view of the lakefront gardens.

Let the Party begin

From the welcoming introductions to the meals and post-dinner festivities, an Eagle Lake party is the epitome of entertainment. Guests are never at a loss for activities; they can play games on the front lawn, gather around the firepit on the beach, take golf cart shuttles to the rooftop, and dance to their heart's content on the lively dance floor. It's clear why Eagle Lake weddings have such an outstanding reputation!

Sunset Photos

Don't forget to capture some breathtaking sunset scenes. From mid-May to mid-October, especially in July and August, the photo opts are everywhere. Our staff will shuttle you across our little bridge to the back field for some of those magnificent photos that will forever light up your wedding album.
